Amalgam - The filling material used for back teeth.
Bridge - A bridge is used to replace missing teeth. Teeth which are next to the area of missing teeth are crowned and used to support the restorations.
Composite - Tooth-colored material that is available in many forms and shades. It is used to fill teeth or change the size, color and shape of teeth.
Consultation - An explanation of the information which was obtained and treatment you need after the Doctor has reviewed all the information collected at an earlier appointment.
Dentures - A denture is a removable piece of acrylic which replaces missing teeth.
Extraction - The surgical removal of a tooth or teeth.
Filling - Composite, amalgam or gold are used to repair a portion of the tooth which decay has destroyed.
Root Canal - A procedure to eliminate the nerve in the tooth. During the procedure, the damaged pulp is removed, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off.
Treatment Plan - A summary of all appointments and time necessary to complete the work a patient needs.
Tooth Whitening - A treatment to whiten teeth using an At-Home Self Whitening Kit.
